Alongside our wins this year--like SB 497, a higher wage for fast food workers, preserving funding for CCWP, SB 616, increasing paid sick days from three to five in California, and SB 553, all of which we supported or achieved in coalition with and alongside many allies and organizations working together to promote worker rights--we find ourselves still fighting for basic things like health and safety protections for domestic workers, a livable wage (let alone a thriving wage) for all workers, and for employers to consistently adhere to the health and safety laws already in place.

Securing basic rights for all workers is a universal cause--but worker health and safety is fairly niche. We appreciate so much the attention you give to this work, and all of the ways you support it.
